Bryce Underwood is the real deal.
The nation's top class of 2024 quarterback showed out again on Friday in Belleville's 35-8 win over Glenn in a battle of Michigan high school football unbeatens.
Underwood threw three touchdown passes and ran for a TD to lead the defending MHSAA Division 1 football state champions to victory. They improved to 6-0 with the win.
Still, Underwood wanted more.
“We should have scored on more drives. I came up short on some,” Underwood said. “We are about to go back to the drawing board on Sunday and get better than we were today.”
